Think of it as if the underground Berlin cabaret scene had a love child with a Vegas Spice Girl. Meet the Barbaren'S
MADAME LEGUME
Bonjour mes chéris! Madame Legume is the quintessential timeless housewife, so well educated she speaks bad French excellently with perfectly pouted lips. She has tried so hard to fulfill the destiny of a pin-up housewife, working harder than Don Draper could ever understand. However, the tragic reality is that she is in hell… Madame Legume is in a living nightmare!!!
HILDEGARD SCHMIDT
Hildegard Schmidt, usually called by her nickname Hilde, is a successful businesswomen who knows how to work hard. Her goal is to make money, occupy her day with tasks and to smoke as many cigarettes as she can. She is proud and convinced people like her for her work ethic. She has an extensive pant suit collection which she will never admit.
PRINZIPESSA
Prinzipessa is every little girl’s dream, she is the princess of hearts. She loves ice cream and unicorns and sparkly things. She is always striving for perfection and beauty. Unfortunately, she is very clumsy and still single, waiting for the one and only.
AGNARR GUNNARR
She comes from somewhere in the north. She grew up with wolves and bears. She never learned about beauty standards or shaving one’s legs, her skills rely on survival and primitive instincts. Agnarr’s favourite free-time activities are slow walks on the edge of the glacier, bear wrestling and ice bathing.
STARLIGHT RACECAR
Starlight Racecar hails from an unknown faraway land. She has many talents, loves dancing and is terrified of structured order. She is bold and loud. She is guaranteed to make you laugh with her no holds barred approach to physical humour. Known as Star for short, she has a strong desire to mess things up, play out of tune and ruffle a few feathers. You’ve got a teenager attitude mixed with Mama bear energy all in one tracksuit.
ANETTE/DIRECTOR
Annette is omnipresent. Everybody knows her, but nobody knows, does she exist? She whispers in everyone’s dreams. She is the shadow. The wind. She is invisible, but always present.
